Piston Vault was born out of an idea of its founder.
Our road-map progress shows without doubts our relentless commitment to deliver our vision and our ability to achieve all the milestones we set ourselves.
The sketch of an idea
The idea for Piston Vault was born a late evening in an apartment in New York's Wall Street - jotted down on a piece of paper by someone who (clearly) cannot draw.
What would it look like?
Still only a sketch on a piece of paper, it found its way to Mike, a very talented 3D artist who insisted to have a shot at a rendering of how the final technology may look like.
A Spark is born
The first prototype of our wallet was designed as part of the Piston Valve connectivity platform. We selected our own MCU, secure enclave, and wrote our firmware.
Now we need a team
Soon after, we built our team of electronic designers, firmware developers, mechanical engineers, and project managers - from New York, to London, Tokyo, St. Petersburg, and Singapore.
Prototype system is ready
After months of circuit design and firmware development, our first system prototype is ready and connected to our cloud platform.
Our board of advisors
Hot on the success of our prototype, we put together a board of advisors like few in the market: financial markets, financial regulation, and information security experts from with experience from tier-1 banks and other financial institutions.
USPTO patent filed
Piston Vault electronics, firmware, mechanics, and software platform are patent pending.
Metal fabrication begins
We begin fabrication of the Piston Cylinder electronic safe.
R3 Solution Partner
Piston Vault becomes R3 Solution Partner. Finally an official collaboration with our friends at R3 - from New York to Singapore.
Alpha Electronics Arrive
And they look just amazing!
